Save Snow Leopards
This rare and celebrated cat lives high in the mountains of China, Russia and Tibet, at altitudes of 10,000 and 20,000 feet. It is covered with two layers of thick fur. A stiff long coat on the outside and a soft woolly undercoat next to the skin.
Unfortunately for the Leopard, people have long treasured its beautiful coat. It is estimated that there are fewer than 10,000 snow Leopards left in the wild. So we should save them. Snow Leopards will become extinct unless we stop killing them for their skin and fur.
Come on! Let's save Snow Leopards!

Saving Endangered Animals
All of the animals have the right to survive but some hunters kill many of them just for their benefit. So there are many endangered animals in the world now. Pronghorns are one of them.
The Pronghorn is a kind of deer. The size of a Pronghorn is usually similar to a deer. Pronghorns live in semi-arid and scrubland which are in North America. They like eating a wide variety of plants including thistles, cacti and sagebrush.
Pronghorns are the fastest four-legged animals in North America. Limited sport hunting of them is permitted. Some hunters hunt and sell them for money. There are only 750,000 to 1 million of them left.
Pronghorns are one of the valuable animals in North America so we should do something to prevent them going extinct. We shouldn't buy bags or clothes which are made of Pronghorn skin. We can also stop using their horns to make medicine.
There are many ways to help endangered animals. Let's start now!

Saving Endangered Animals
In the world, there are a lot of endangered animals. The Siberian Tiger is one of them. It is famous! Let's learn more about it.
Siberian Tigers are so huge. It has small eyes and a big mouth. It has different colours like yellow and white. Siberian Tigers can be named Manchuria Tiger, Ussuri Tiger and Korean Tiger. It is interesting! Siberian Tiger's habitat is in East Russia, Northern Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula. Siberian Tigers like eating meat. They will catch animals for their dinner. They like eating fish too! Siberian Tigers have different ways to catch animals. Although Siberian Tigers are huge, they are endangered animals! Their enemies are people! It is because people always kill them. Also, people always cut the trees, then the Siberian Tigers have no habitat!
People always hurt animals. Some endangered animals, like the Siberian Tiger, lose their habitats. They are so poor. Losing habitat is an awful experience for the animals. Don't kill them again!

Study Tour in Japan

Dear Mary,
How are you? I am going to Japan in the summer holidays.
First, I will go to a local school to learn Japanese. I will also join the sports camp. I will learn baseball and volleyball in a stadium. I will even go to a chocolate factory to learn how to make chocolate. Next, I will go to Disneyland to go on the rides and take some photos with the cartoons characters.
After that, I will go to Mt Fuji to take some beautiful photos. Finally, I will go to a shopping mall to buy some souvenirs for my friends.

Study Tour in Japan

Dear Betty,
How are you? I am going to go to Japan in the summer holidays.
First, I will go to a local school to learn some funny Japanese songs. I will also join a sports camp. I will learn how to play baseball and volleyball correctly. I will even learn how to make sushi.
Next, I will visit Hello Kitty Land. I will go on a lot of exciting rides. I will also take some photos with Hello Kitty. I will even play some games and get a gift there.
Then, I'll go to the chocolate factory to try to make white chocolate. I think it may be tasty.
After that, I'll go to Tokyo Tower to see the view of Tokyo at night. I'll take some photos too.
Finally, I will go to the biggest shopping mall in Japan to buy some souvenirs for my friends in Hong Kong.

Jack's Tour
Yesterday, an American boy named Jack went on a one-day tour around Hong Kong. He went to Wong Tai Sin Temple by train. He slept on the train as he was very tired. When he woke up, he didn't know where he was. He asked an old lady to sit near him.
Luckily, the next station was the one that he wanted to get off at. He thanked the old lady for helping him and headed to the temple.

TV Viewing Habits
There are three people in my family. They have different TV viewing habits.
My father often watches TV at night. He likes watching different kinds of TV programmes. He enjoys watching documentaries very much because they're interesting. He quite enjoys cartoons because they're funny. He doesn't enjoy watching pop music shows because they're childish. He spends three hours on watching TV every day.
My mother sometimes watches TV at night. She likes different kinds of TV programmes. She enjoys watching nature programmes very much because they're interesting. She quite enjoys documentaries because they're informative. She doesn't really enjoy watching quiz shows because they're boring. She doesn't enjoy cookery programmes because they're time-consuming. She spends one hour on watching TV every day.
My brother always watches TV at night. He likes watching different kinds of TV programmes. He enjoys watching cartoons very much because they're exciting. He quite enjoys dramas because they're interesting. He doesn't really enjoy watching pop music shows because they're silly. He doesn't enjoy the news because it's boring. He spends four hours on watching TV every day.

1. I am going to do more Chinese exercises every day. I am going to revise my Chinese four times a week. I am going to read more Chinese books every day.
Result: My Chinese will be better than before.
2. I am going to keep a diary every day. I am going to read more English books every day. I am going to visit different places for inspiration for my stories.
Result: My stories will be more interesting and adventurous.
3. I am going to tidy my room once a week. I am going to put my things in the right place when I'm finished using them. I am going to sort out my things in a box.
Result: It will be easier to find my things.
4. I am going to go to bed early every night. I am going to set my alarm clock every night. I am going to watch less TV every night.
Result: I can get up early and be full of energy to go to school.
5. I am going to practise swimming every weekend. I am going to eat healthily every day. I am going to listen to my Dad when he teaches me.
Result: I can swim better.

Then, two big bags of presents fall on the floor. Suddenly, one girl passes Santa Claus. She sees him and helps Santa Claus to pick up the presents. Santa Claus says thank you and gives a present to her.
